Our Services

CGCI devise and hold public events, both regular such as Chinese New Year festival, and ad hoc such as Chinese Essay Writing Competition, Chocolate Making Fun Day, sporting activities, in order to educate and raise the awareness of the Chinese living in Victoria about the potential risks and harms that may be caused by gambling.  CGCI also offer professional counselling service to the Chinese gamblers and significant others in a holistic way.

Our services include but not limited to:

• Helpline: 9am-9pm 7 days a week (1800 881 663)

• Free, confidential and holistic approach and service

• Community education on gambling-related issues
  • E.g. how will gambling do harm to you and your family?
  • E.g. how can you talk to your children about gambling?

• Education and raising awareness of risks and harms associated with gambling

• Assistance in participation in self-exclusion or pre-commitment scheme

• Referral to other community services when necessary
